Crocheting in Wales

I am on a working holiday in Harlech, Wales. This is our first day here and the weather is windy and rainy. We were expecting this so we got a cottage with some spectacular views and so, sitting inside for today at least, it not a hardship.

Of course I brought my crochet along and I have started this new top. It is going to be turquise and a kind of indigo. I am using cotton yarn and a 3.5mm hook.

Our road trip here was pretty amazing though, we avoided the motorway and drove through small towns and villages. And we went through Snowdonia National Park, which by the way is pretty amazing. Some extraordinary views can be seen along the way and of course there were sheep galore!

I am thinking that this will be a half sleeved top, so that I can wear it in the summer. I will post the finished product once it is done. This is part of the pattern using the suzette stitch.

Happy Crocheting!

I started crocheting in 2019 and it came in very handy during lockdown for the Covid pandemic. Now I am quite hooked and totally love it.
